Most traditional houses have a main entrance to the House called the Gomjore. The Gomjore measuring about 200 sq feet has two traditional pillars made of a whole block of wood which stands to this day untouched by the vagaries of weather or pests. Towards the southern part is the steep traditional wooden stair leading to the family altar.
The Gomjore in Biksthang Heritage Farmhouse houses some of the few relics and picture frames of days gone by.
